The Kirby Group offers a comprehensive range of fire safety training whatever the size of Organisation aimed at everyone from new staff to refresher courses for the most experienced staff.

The Kirby Group’s range of fire safety training includes: Full or Half day basic fire safety awareness courses that give you all you need to know in the event of a fire.

The full day course is recommended for inexperienced personnel, new employees and those with specific responsibilities, such as fire wardens.

Off-site Training Courses

The Kirby Group runs training course nationwide – ideal if you want to train just one or two members of staff in fire safety.

Fire Warden & Fire Marshall Training

Give your key staff a clear understanding of their duties and responsibilities with Fire Warden & Fire Marshall Training. This is crucial in helping all your staff make safe and quick exits from premises in the event of a fire alarm.

Fire Extinguisher Handling

The Kirby Group can provide your staff with practical, hands-on training to use fire extinguishers and how to tackle real fires. Training includes methods of operating extinguishers, what types of fire they are suitable for and their limitations.

FETA Extinguisher Course

As an accredited trainer, The Kirby Group can offer staff training on the Fire Extinguisher Maintenance Examination course (FETA). On completion of this course your staff would be competent at servicing extinguishers in accordance with BS 5306 Part 3.

Online Learning

All our training can be delivered online where courses can be accessed at your staff’s convenience.
