The Kirby Group protect customers and staff at Burger King

The Kirby Group is working closely with Burger King, the second largest fast food burger chain in the world, to ensure both its staff and customers are kept safe and fully protected.

Since opening their first UK restaurant in 1977 in Aldershot the, 100% franchise owned, company has expanded to over 1400 and has recently embarked on a new global makeover including a total remodel of the interior and exterior.

To provide a complete protection service The Kirby Group, with its wealth of experience in leisure and retail, was invited to undertake a detailed survey and risk assessment of the revamped restaurants enabling them to provide a cost effective individually tailored solution to safety and protection.

The Kirby Group recommendation was to install a full CCTV system with high speed dome cameras, complete with powerful zoom lenses, to monitor the cash registers, dining areas and front entrances and exits.

In addition, monitored intruder alarm systems were also installed to the latest European Standards with high security monitoring using PSTN line with a failsafe back up of GPRS should the PSTN fail.
